I love the symbolism and its enigmatic feel. It has beautiful design qualities too. I love it.

This gallery amazes me, Fei...the complexity of your work draws one in and creates a sense of wonder and invites contemplation. It is as if you know something about the meaning of life that makes you and your art unique and that has the power to motivate the viewer to consider, or perhaps reconsider, our take on our own life. Two months later this piece still strikes me as rarely puzzling and perplexing (which for me equals extraordinary)! It has some of Magritte's iconoclastic charm, combined with skillful execution of the Realism in Surrealism! My personal reading is that our intuition - the instinctual, bodily or natural knowledge, whatever we want to call it - births new ideas and initiatives, infused with brilliance and beauty, but then our rationality takes over and spoils everything: too much reasoning and mind-blowing pondering leads to suffocation and ultimately, extinction of the life-changing impulse... Anyway, keep up the good work, Fei! -_-

The ornamental feel reminds me of Klimt, and the male figure of Roden's Thinker. Don't know why exactly, since the posture is far from identical...
